Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Most famously, she is best known for her role in her role in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also was the director, producer and star on her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham in Alabama, on January 1977. Danielle is her older sister and an artist. Benson was raised in a Reform synagogue in the name of her Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. The career of Benson continues to grow since the end of Buffy. She appeared in films like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera she put her writing skills to work on The Ghosts of Albion series and directed on projects like the 2010's Drones. Buffy has spent an effort and time to locate them, states there are around 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 working for their organization, the Scooby Gang.
