Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early age. He performed on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. In 1953, when he joined the Air Force and was spotted alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in 1957. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in 1960. In 1964, Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed their own. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for six years. In the meantime, they had two more children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
