Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. His father is an Argentine with Scottish and English roots. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one at each one of their parents' prior marriages. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and was hoping to move back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
