Mischa Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. Also, she was on screen in The Sixth Sense, a suspense film. The Romanians welcomed her back to their country as a hero. Comaneci won two gold as well as two silver in the Olympics in the year 1980, taking her total of medals to nine. The total of her Olympic medals was raised to 9 awards when, in 1980, she won two more gold and two silver in the Olympics. In the month of April, 1996 Comaneci was married American Olympic Champion Bart Conner and they have a son named Dylan Paul. They run a range of companies that are related to gymnastics including Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci has also been engaged in a range of causes, and has been a member of both the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Decades later, Comaneci is still a major supporter of dozens more charities within her homeland of Romania. These include those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
