Mischa Barton, birthed in Hammersmith England United Kingdom on 24th January 1986, is one of the most renowned and wealthy TV actresses. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She appeared also as a character in The Sixth Sense, a suspense movie. The O.C. which she appeared in was a cult TV series. Additionally, she starred on the popular TV series The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie was her love interest. Who played her love-interest. Barton first made an appearance on TV in 1994 playing an untried Corvina Lang in flashbacks in the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996, she appeared on the show as a replacement for Michelle Trachtenberg in the role as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer appeared in eight episodes as Jessie's Evan Rachel Wood's, lover on The Once and Again television show. She returned in 2001 to film and appeared in the indie Canadian drama Lost and Delirious based on the novel The Wives of Bath by Susan Swan. Barton along with her co-stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo had mixed receptions. Julie Johnson, a 2001 film starring Lili Taylor and Courtney Love in which she as the lesbian child of an adulterous female. Barton was a supporting character alongside Brad Renfro, Dominique Swain and Brad Renfro in Tart (2001) which is an independent show for teens. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. The Romanians welcomed her back home with a sense of pride. Comaneci received two more gold medals in the 1980 Olympics She also took home two more silvers. Her total Olympic medals count is now at nine. Comaneci joined the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and ABC News named her one of the most important female athletes of the 20th Century in 1999. Comaneci was an American Olympic Champion Bart Conner married her in April of 1996. Together they had one child Dylan Paul. The couple has numerous business ventures relating to gymnastics, such as the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci has also been engaged in a range of causes, and has been one of both the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Decades later, Comaneci remains a patron of numerous other charities in her native Romania. This includes those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
