Mischa barton was born the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. Also, she was as a character in The Sixth Sense, a suspense film. Also, she was in the film The Sixth Sensation, which is a suspense thriller. TV show The O.C. In addition, she was a part of the cult TV series The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie, her lover. who as her love interest. Barton's first appearance on TV was in 1994 when she played a young Corvina Lang in flashbacks on the soap opera All My Children. In 1996, she returned to take over the role of Michelle Trachtenberg as Lily Benton Montgomery. In the eight episodes she guest starred of the show Once and Again as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover Katie Singer. In 2001, Barton went back to acting, and was a part of an independent Canadian film, titled Lost and Delirious. It was based off the Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. Her performance, and those with the co-stars Jessica Pare and Piper Perabo were widely praised. Barton was also as Julie Johnson in Julie Johnson (2001) alongside Lili Taylor and Courtney Love playing the daughter of a woman involved in a lesbian relationship. Barton also played an important role in the film alongside Brad Renfro (2001) and Dominique Swain in the independent teenager drama Tart. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. After returning to Romania, her welcome was one of heroes. Comaneci won two more gold medals in the 1980 Olympics, and she also won two other silvers. Her total Olympic medals count is now at nine. In 1996, Comaneci was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame as well as in 1999 was honoured by ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of the 100 most Important women in the 20th Century. Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. They run a range of businesses that deal with gymnastics, such as Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci has been a board member for the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. After a decade, Comaneci is still a major supporter of numerous other charities in her homeland of Romania. This includes those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
