Mischa was born to the wealthy and well-known Mischa Barton on the 24th of January, 1986. The birthplace was in Hammersmith England, United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In Romania the nation, she was celebrated as a true hero. Comaneci won two gold and two silver medals in the Olympics in 1980, which brought the total number of medals she has won to nine. Comaneci got her award in the year 1996, after she was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal listed Comaneci one of the Top 100 Women from the 20th Century. In April of 1996, Comaneci was married American Olympic Champion Bart Conner and they have one son Dylan Paul. They own numerous business ventures relating to gymnastics, such as The Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci is director of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Decades later, Comaneci continues to be a supporter of numerous other charities in her homeland of Romania. This includes those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
